Terms of Service

TCG Curator is a fan-made website for browsing trading card game sets, searching cards (including by community tags), building virtual binder pages, and sharing public binders. We currently focus on the Pokémon Trading Card Game and may add other trading card games over time.

We do not charge fees to use the Services today. We may add, remove, or change features at any time. If we ever introduce paid features, we will describe them before you are charged and may update these Terms accordingly.

• You must be old enough to use the Services in your country—at least 13, and at least 16 in the EU/EEA, UK, and any other country where local law requires parental consent for processing a minor's personal data (unless your parent or legal guardian has given that consent).
• Some features (saving binders, voting on tags, adding tags) require a free account.
• Provide accurate registration information and keep your login secure.
• Usernames and public content must not impersonate others or violate these Terms.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

We may change or remove usernames or content that violate these Terms or harm the community, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Services.

The Services are not directed to children who do not meet the age requirement above. By creating an account or submitting content, you confirm that you meet that requirement.

If we learn that an account is held by someone who does not meet the age requirement, we may suspend or delete the account and remove any content posted from it.

TCG Curator is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any trading card game publisher, including (without limitation) The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, GAME FREAK, Creatures Inc., and Wizards of the Coast. Card names, images, set names, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use card images and set data for identification and collector reference only.

You may submit binder pages, tag votes, tags from our catalog, and profile information. You keep ownership of your content, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to run the Services—for example, showing a public binder on the showcase or storing your saved layout.

You are responsible for your content. We may remove content that violates these Terms. We do not pre-screen everything users post.

The Services are not a personal storage or backup service. You are responsible for keeping your own copy of any binder pages or other content you care about, and we will not be liable for any lost or unrecoverable content.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services unlawfully or to harm others.
• Harass, abuse, or post hateful or discriminatory content.
• Spam, scrape, or use bots without permission.
• Interfere with security, overload systems, or probe vulnerabilities.
• Manipulate tag votes or binder likes (fake accounts, bots, coordinated abuse).
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with us or any rights holder.
• Distribute malware or malicious code.

Notice: We may suspend, ban, or delete your account—with or without prior notice—if we detect abuse or behavior that harms the community or the Services.

Examples of activity that can lead to suspension or permanent removal include, but are not limited to:

• Mass downvoting tags, brigading, or other coordinated voting manipulation.
• Adding inaccurate, spammy, offensive, or otherwise low-quality tags.
• Data crawling, scraping, or making automated requests without our written permission.
• Using bots, scripts, or multiple accounts to inflate votes, binder likes, or other metrics.
• Attempting to bypass rate limits, access controls, or other technical protections.
• Any other malicious, abusive, or fraudulent behavior at our reasonable discretion.

We may also remove offending content, revoke specific permissions (such as the ability to vote or add tags), and block access by IP, device, or account. Decisions are made at our reasonable discretion, and we are not obligated to provide a refund or compensation. If you believe an action was taken in error, contact us at privacy@tcgcurator.gg.

Tags describe card art and themes. Visibility in search may depend on community votes and overall tag quality. User-submitted tags may be edited, merged, recategorized, hidden, or removed as part of our community taxonomy work. Tags and binders are provided as-is; we do not guarantee they are complete or correct.

The Services run on shared infrastructure with finite database, bandwidth, and compute capacity. We do not guarantee any specific level of availability, uptime, response time, or query throughput, and the Services may be slow, degraded, or unavailable from time to time—especially during periods of high demand, traffic spikes, abuse, or maintenance.

To keep the Services stable and affordable for everyone, we may:

• Apply rate limits, request quotas, or throttling on a per-account, per-IP, per-session, or global basis.
• Queue, slow down, defer, or reject requests (including search queries, tag votes, binder saves, image loads, and API-style traffic) when database or server load is high.
• Temporarily disable or reduce the functionality of specific features—such as search, tag voting, public showcases, or image delivery—to protect overall service health.
• Cache results, return stale data, or limit the size, frequency, or depth of certain queries and listings.
• Change these limits at any time, without prior notice, as our infrastructure and usage patterns evolve.

Rate limits and availability measures are not a guarantee of service. We will not be liable for any inability to access the Services, any failed or delayed request, or any impact on your binders, tags, or other activity caused by capacity, performance, or maintenance measures.

• Prices shown are estimates from third-party data and may be wrong or out of date. Confirm on the marketplace before buying.
• Links to TCGPlayer, eBay, and similar sites are search or referral links—we are not a party to those transactions.
• We may earn affiliate compensation when you click certain links and make a purchase, at no extra cost to you.

Site design, code, and original text are ours or our licensors. Do not copy or commercially exploit the Services without permission. Card images and set names belong to their respective owners.

We rely on third-party providers to help operate the Services, and we link to external sites. We are not responsible for their services, content, or privacy practices.

The services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation, any particular level of performance, availability, capacity, or response time, or that card data, tags, or prices will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TCG Curator and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the free Services.

Because the Services are currently free, we do not charge fees today and there is no payment relationship between you and us. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, certain consumer rights where you live).

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

• We will post the current version on this page and update the effective date at the top when changes take effect.
• Changes apply as soon as they are posted, unless we state a later effective date.
• Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
• If you do not agree to an update, stop using the Services.
• For material changes, we may provide additional notice on the site or by email to the address associated with your account, when we have it.

Our Privacy Policy is also subject to change on the same basis. We encourage you to review both documents periodically.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction apply.
