Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TCG Curator (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website and related services (the “Services”). The Services are currently free to use. By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

This policy may change from time to time. We will post updates on this page and revise the effective date when we do. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy—see Changes to This Policy below.

Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information in the following ways.

Information you provide to us

Personal information you may provide through the Services includes:

  • Account and contact information, such as your email address, username, and password.
  • Profile information you choose to add, such as a bio, social links, and visibility settings.
  • User content you submit, such as saved binder pages, tag votes, tags added to cards, binder likes, and other information you post or make available on the Services.
  • Communications you send us, such as support requests or other messages.
  • Other information you provide that we use as described in this policy or when we collect it.

Information collected automatically

When you visit or use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information, such as:

  • Device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system, and general location derived from your IP address.
  • Usage information, such as pages you view, features you use, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Information about how you arrived at the Services (for example, referring website).

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Product analytics runs in PostHog cookieless mode unless you opt into identified product analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect sign-in or certain features.

Public visibility. Anything you choose to include in public content—such as a public binder name or description, your profile bio, social links, or your username on the showcase—may be visible to anyone, including visitors who are not signed in. Do not include information you do not want to share publicly.

How We Use Personal Information

We may use the personal information we collect for purposes such as:

  • Providing, operating, and improving the Services.
  • Creating and maintaining your account and profile.
  • Displaying public content you choose to share with other users.
  • Understanding how visitors use the Services and developing new features.
  • Communicating with you about the Services, including account-related messages.
  • Promoting safety, preventing abuse, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
  • Complying with law and protecting our rights and the rights of others.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not use it for targeted advertising or for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

How We Share Personal Information

We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers that help us operate the Services—see Service Providers (Subprocessors) below.
  • Other users, when you make content public on the Services.
  • Third-party websites you visit through links on the Services (such as marketplace or affiliate sites), which are governed by their own privacy policies.
  • Authorities or others when required by law or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect users, the Services, or legal rights.

Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We use the following companies to process personal information on our behalf. They may use your information only to provide services to us, subject to their own privacy policies and our instructions.

Supabase (Supabase, Inc.)

Authentication, database hosting, and storage of account data, profiles, and user content you submit through the Services. Supabase Privacy Policy

Vercel (Vercel, Inc.)

Website hosting and content delivery for the Services. Vercel may process IP addresses, request metadata, and related technical logs when you access the site. Vercel Privacy Policy

PostHog (PostHog, Inc.)

Product analytics when our analytics token is configured—such as pages viewed and features used. By default, PostHog runs in cookieless server hash mode and does not store analytics cookies or localStorage identifiers in your browser. If you opt into identified product analytics, signed-in usage may be linked to your account identifier; we do not send your email address. PostHog is configured to respect Do Not Track where supported. Analytics data may be processed in the United States under PostHog's transfer safeguards, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable. PostHog Privacy Policy

We may add or change service providers from time to time. We will update this list when we do.

Your Choices

  • Update profile information and account settings through the Services.
  • Choose whether binder pages and your profile are public or private, where those options are available.
  • Turn identified product analytics on or off in account settings.
  • Limit cookies and certain tracking through your browser settings.
  • Contact us to request access to or deletion of your personal information. We may need to verify your identity.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, receive a copy of your information in a portable format, restrict or object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Email us at privacy@tcgcurator.gg for privacy requests.

Other Websites and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing personal information to them.

Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, such as security and legal compliance.

When you delete content or your account, we will remove it from public view as soon as reasonably possible and delete or anonymize the underlying personal information within a reasonable period. Backup copies created for disaster recovery and legal purposes may persist for a limited time after deletion. We may also retain limited information needed to enforce our Terms of Service—for example, to prevent a suspended account from being recreated.

International Users

We are based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

Children

The Services are not directed to children below the minimum age set out in our Terms of Service (at least 13, and at least 16 in the EU/EEA, UK, and other jurisdictions where local law requires parental consent for processing a minor’s personal data, unless a parent or legal guardian has given consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time, without prior notice, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

  • We will post the current version on this page and update the effective date at the top when changes take effect.
  • Changes apply as soon as they are posted, unless we state a later effective date.
  • Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
  • If you do not agree to an update, stop using the Services.
  • For material changes, we may provide additional notice on the site or by email to the address associated with your account, when we have it.

Our Terms of Service are also subject to change on the same basis. We encourage you to review both documents periodically.
